3rd grade is using all the interrogative words to interview a classmate! There will be a total of 2 interviews that each student will conduct. The first interview your student will interviewed by a peer in ESPANOL. Some students wanted to be interviewed to be the presidente and others wanted to be a doctor. There is a total of 10 questions which are prepared and answered before hand.
The second interview will be interviewing another student for their desired position.
In class we discussed what it means to present your “best self.” When interviews are conducted they are expected to dress appropriately and accordingly for the position they are applying for. In addition they are expected to conduct themselves in a culturally sensitive way. How do Hispanic people greet? What words or phrases should they use when greeting/concluding the interview.
Class time is being used for this project. All work is saved on their Google Drive and can be accessed at home. A week before the project due date is when students will be expected to work on solidifying memorization at home. During the actual presentation they will be allowed a note card with the questions that are asked. However, they will NOT be allowed to use the note card for their answers. All answers should be memorized!
This project will not be due until after Winter Break, but please be sure to ask about what they want to be and who their partner wants to be!
